ined silent.Looking at her kind and amiable big brother, Yan Luoxi was so touched she almost cried.SHE never expected to be this fortunate; the eldest young master of the Li family turned out to be so...Chapter 79 Only One Room

Luo Yan didn't act like the heartless Yan Luoxi, who only took pleasure in watching his misfortune. He quickly peeled off his wet and sticky casual clothes and wrapped them around Luo Yan's body, though they weren’t warm but could prevent any indecent exposure.

His teeth clenched together as he cursed: "You still have the leisure to watch my show! Don't you know that those men already stripped you naked"

Luo Yan only then realized his embarrassment and tightly clung onto Luo Yan's casual clothes, her face flushed with heat.

Luo Yan walked confidently despite being drenched in water. As he strutted from the hotel entrance to the reception desk to book a room, many women couldn't help but stare at him.

This wasn’t surprising as Luo Yan had always been well-built and regularly exercised; even a simple outfit could make women blush when worn by him. Now with his white shirt clinging wetly to his body, it accentuated the well-defined muscles of his strong and handsome physique, making him look exceptionally attractive.

There were many guests checking in today, so Luo Yan hadn't returned for a long time while Luo Yan waited here. Her clothes had already been soaked through by this point. The cold wind blowing inside made her feel even colder; she shivered uncontrollably.

Luo Yan seemed to have put in some effort at the reception desk before finally completing his check-in procedures. He waved towards Luo Yan's direction, lifting his lips into a particularly beautiful curve.

Several people had just entered the hotel when this happened; one woman was so captivated by Luo Yan that she stumbled and almost fell to the ground.

What kind of charm Li An possesses, Yan Luoxi doesn't know, but she knows that such a man is truly terrifying.

Once inside the elevator, Yan Luoxi couldn't help but ask Li An, "Earlier, there was a woman who was so focused on looking at you that she almost fell. Did you see that"

Li An gave an indifferent snort, "Only your dog eyes can’t recognize Jade Fragrance [a term of endearment]. There are countless people infatuated with me; what’s the big deal if someone almost falls Besides, there have been women who jumped off buildings for me!"

"So those rumors were actually true!" Yan Luoxi widened her eyes in astonishment. She had previously heard from others that a woman committed suicide for Li An's sake, but she never quite believed it. Who would be so crazy as to kill themselves over such a devilish person Now hearing Li An confirm it himself, those rumors must have been true after all.

Li An’s handsome face turned slightly gloomy and he ignored Yan Luoxi's words, staring at the numbers on the elevator panel which kept changing.

Aware of the situation, Yan Luoxi wisely shut her mouth.

When they arrived upstairs, seeing that Li An only took out one room key card, Yan Luoxi was dumbfounded. "You...you only booked one room"

"How stupid can you be!" Li An's expression darkened slightly, a menacing aura surrounding him as he fiercely poked Yan Luoxi’s head with his finger.

"Didn’t you see the commotion downstairs! This is a five-star hotel; over eighty percent of the rooms were reserved by noon. Now all those who can't return home are flocking to stay here. If I hadn't called in a favor, we wouldn’t have been able to get even this one room!"

Yan Luoxi knew that Li An was speaking the truth. Although the situation wasn't as severe as a tsunami or an earthquake, it could still be considered a flood disaster with scarce resources and many mouths to feed but little food to go around. She couldn't afford to be too picky.

However, the thought of having to share a room again with Li An, whom she had gone through great lengths to avoid in the past, made her hesitate.

Li An opened the door and ignored Yan Luoxi, who was standing outside like a scared little mouse. He started undressing as he walked towards the bathroom, where he quickly took a shower.

Yan Luoxi looked around and saw a window at the end of the corridor. She ran over to it hoping that the rain had stopped.

The heavy rain outside didn't stop due to her predicament; instead, it raged on with an ominous presence. Underneath the streetlights' illumination, everything appeared like a vast ocean. Many cars on the road were trapped in the water, only leaving half of their bodies visible. As for what was happening inside those vehicles, she couldn't see anything from where she stood.

Yan Luoxi involuntarily sucked in a cold breath; her fingers trembled out of fear. Thankfully, Li An had been wise enough to act quickly. Otherwise, they would have been trapped and possibly drowned in the car.

The feeling of surviving such an ordeal left Yan Luoxi's body weak. She slipped down from the windowsill onto the carpet, still feeling shaky. After a short while of catching her breath, she reached for her phone but pulled out a dripping wet device instead.

Yan Luoxi felt her heart sink; her phone had been waterlogged!

Hoping for the best, she pressed a button and to her surprise, the screen lit up. She was overjoyed momentarily and hastily dialed Zhou Guangtao's number.

Zhou Guangtao had previously said that he wouldn't be returning home tonight, and she didn't know how things were on his end. She dared not hope for him to come pick her up, but she wanted to know if he was safe.

Unfortunately, China Mobile wasn't performing well; the lines were busy, and it seemed like too many people were calling each other at this time of night.

The expression on Yan Luoxi's face dimmed. Although she didn't want Zhou Guangtao to put himself in danger by braving the wind and rain to pick her up, at this moment, she wished he could be by her side. She missed him so much; every word he had spoken, every look, every frown, every action...

The clothes on her body were wet, making her feel colder than ever. She hugged herself tightly and leaned against the dark corner, hoping to drive away some of the cold.

Yan Luoxi knew that Li An's room was bright, comfortable, and warm; however, it wasn't a place for her to be. Like the little girl in "The Little Match Girl," she yearned for light and warmth as she gradually closed her eyes.

Lian grew up in an affluent family, so he had a bad temper and was somewhat obsessive about cleanliness. He had been thoroughly disgusted by the water on the street that soaked his thighs. If not for Yan Luoxi's sake, he would have waited inside the car until absolutely necessary before getting out.

He stood under the showerhead, scrubbing vigorously for a long time before finally sighing in relief and wrapping himself in the hotel’s soft, clean bathrobe.

Lian walked around the room but couldn't find Yan Luoxi. His heart skipped a beat; did this stubborn girl really run off in the rain

He rushed to the still-open door of his room and looked around. The corridor was empty and quiet, and he started getting anxious. As he took two steps out, he suddenly noticed a dark figure huddled at the far end of the corner.few paces, Li Haonan made some noise, pretending he had just arrived. He greeted them warmly: "Xiaobei, Luoxi, you’re here! Are you hungry Let's go inside to eat!"Gu Xiaobei glared at him and said unh...
