Li An glanced sideways at his father's retreating figure with disdain. Over the years, his father had always been spineless in front of his mother and showed no principles when it came to her. Today was no different as she clearly favored Yan Luoxi over him. But now he couldn't expect his father to say a good word for him.

Gu Xiaobei brought Yan Luoxi to the room where she lived, taking in the luxurious and exquisite interior decoration that filled her with感慨 (appreciation).
